Where I serve
By providential circumstances, I will be in Denver, CO! SOCA’s mission is to make Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church known–especially to those souls just waiting for the Truth. Yet so few do this. With God’s grace, it is this mission I intend to give myself to. “And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” (John 1:5).
Growing up in Fort Collins, Colorado with a practicing Catholic family, I went through a time of temptations early on in high school. By studying more about the faith, encountering genuine friendships, and finding a fulfillment of meaning and desire of eternal consequences, I enthusiastically dove into a deeper spiritual and apostolic life. After 3 semesters of college, I left for France and lived with a traditional Dominican religious community there. After 17 life-changing months, I realized my calling was closer to the fronts of evangelization. I became a missionary striving to lead souls–particularly young adults–to sanctity and thus set the wold on fire!
In the midst of the distractions and noise of our society, sometimes I want to yell “God IS!” He is the answer I was looking for; He is the answer of meaning, desire, love, and friendship that we all are looking for. It is my heart’s desire to be an outlet of God’s love, developing sincere friendships with students that will lead them to a deeper encounter with Christ and His Church. The grave necessity of conversion not only to the One True Faith, but also with regards to advancement in the interior life is so often disregarded. I cannot simply sit by having learned, meditated upon, and experienced the necessity and richness of such a life.
“And may my God supply all your want, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:19). When the Lord called me to become a campus missionary, it also meant becoming dependent on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. He asked me for a radical “YES”: abandonment to the generosity of others. If you may be interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and we will schedule an appointment. Time and again beautiful relationships are formed through mission partnership; I would be honored to welcome you on this mission with me.
